Project Summary

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership first commissioned ResearchFDI in 2018 for an annual investment attraction (having been renewed twice since) lead generation campaign.

Activities & Results

  • ResearchFDI’s efforts on behalf of VEDP have, to-date, resulted in the identification and subsequent scheduling of appointments with approximately 120 prospects.
  • In the summer of 2018, ResearchFDI scheduled a meeting with Dallas-based Compass Datacentres, a provider of custom, move-in ready data centers from edge deployments to core facilities serving hyper-scale, cloud and enterprise customers.
  • This project is slated to be completed in 2020 and is located on Compass’ Loudoun campus. The new location will provide 75MW of capacity on its 100-acre campus and will provide substantial capacity for further expansion
