ResearchFDI, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the Toronto Region Board of Trade’s World Trade Centre Toronto (WTC-T) to facilitate the inclusion of seven innovative Toronto-based food companies in a Food and Beverage trade mission to Los Angeles this March. For four days, these businesses will be exposed to experts in the southwestern U.S. organic products market, networking with distributors and potential customers, and learning important tactics for entering the competitive California food and beverage market.
As a sponsor of the mission, ResearchFDI has contributed by lending its expertise in B2B matchmaking and lead generation services. Over a dozen meetings between the Canadian delegation and key distributors, brokers, and large grocers have been arranged by ResearchFDI’s B2B team both at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim and around Greater Los Angeles. The goal of the B2B meetings is to set each Toronto company with local contacts that can help them establish themselves and ultimately sell their products in California and across the southwestern United States.
The project has been overseen by Vice President, Trade & Export Services, Stefan Calimanu and Project Manager, Kristina Tager, and has employed a multifaceted research approach to identify appropriate targets tailored for each attending company’s needs, giving them higher odds of finding partners in the region whose ethos are aligned with theirs and that come with a client base which would best appreciate each company’s unique market offering.
