Happy Economic Development Week!

Created by the International Economic Development Council in 2016, the goal of Economic Development Week (EDW) is to increase awareness for local programs that create jobs, attract investments, advance career development opportunities and increase the quality of life in communities everywhere.
Economic Development Week is just two years old, but its influence is growing. Since 2016, there have been more than 500 individual Economic Development Week celebrations across the United States and Canada. Mayors, governors, and federal agencies have signed proclamations recognizing EDW and all the hard work economic developers do to make their communities stronger.

We took this week as an opportunity to highlight what some of our staff at ResearchFDI think about Economic Development.
