Project Summary

Waterloo Region Economic Development Corporation is the investment promotion agency of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Waterloo EDC has worked with ResearchFDI on a variety of FDI lead generation programs since 2016 focusing on both the East and West Coast of the U.S., and most recently  with a focus on Germany.

Activities & Results

  • ResearchFDI’s efforts on behalf of the Waterloo EDC have, to-date, resulted in the identification and subsequent scheduling of appointments with approximately 80 lead prospects
  • To date, the contract has secured pre-qualified meetings with two firms that chose to expand into the Waterloo region: New York-based technology company Insticator. (March 2019) and Sunnyvale California-based software development company Enlighted. (September 2019)
