Project Summary
Invest Québec is the primary investment promotion organization for the Canadian province of Québec. Invest Québec’s ongoing contract with ResearchFDI began in 2012 to assist with its inward investment promotion activities in the U.S. and Canada primarily by providing support to the organization’s Montreal headquarters and its various U.S. office locations through lead generation and qualified appointment setting
Activities & Results
- ResearchFDI has scheduled 50 in-person appointments on behalf of Invest Quebec’s team with prospects in California, Texas, NY State, Washington State, Texas and Florida as well as a further 50 conference calls with prospects located throughout the US.
- ResearchFDI was successful in identifying Chicago-based Gorilla Group a developer of software solutions for the financial services sector. The company established operations in Montreal and hired 100 workers.
- Another success to be born of the contract was found when, GlobalStep, a world leader in video games quality assurance, data analytics and software testing based in Dallas, TX, has established a major presence in Montréal as part of a global expansion program in 2017. The expansion project created 200 jobs by the end of 2017.
