Project Summary
ResearchFDI’s relationship with Nevada-based Economic Development entities stretches back to 2010 when our firm started working with Nevada Energy’s Economic Development team, specifically targeting California-based manufacturers that were looking to expand or relocate out of state.
Activities & Results
- We have directly provided over 150 qualified leads to such organizations as Nevada Energy, the City of Henderson, Nevada and the Northern Nevada Development Authority, as well as indirectly to the Desert Research Institute (DRI) and the State of Nevada’s Governor’s Office.
- Our firm has traditionally taken a regional approach, dividing the state of California into five distinct geographies, with each investment attraction mission targeting one or more of the following areas: Northern California (Sacramento & surrounding area), Bay Area (San Francisco, San Jose & surrounding area), Central California, Los Angeles area & Southern California (San Diego & surrounding areas.
- In November 2015, La Habra-CA based VIP Rubber Inc. announced its plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Carson City, NV, creating 40 new jobs in the process. The announcement came following a meeting that ResearchFDI had arranged in January 2012
