Waterloo EDC Case Study
Project Summary
Waterloo Region Economic Development Corporation is the investment promotion agency of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Waterloo EDC has worked with ResearchFDI on a variety of FDI lead generation programs since 2016 focusing on both the East and West Coast of the U.S., and most recently with a focus on Germany.
Activities and Results
- ResearchFDI’s efforts on behalf of the Waterloo EDC have, to-date, resulted in the identification and subsequent scheduling of appointments with approximately 80 lead prospects
- To date, the contract has secured pre-qualified meetings with two firms that chose to expand into the Waterloo region: New York-based technology company Insticator. (March 2019) and Sunnyvale California-based software development company Enlighted. (September 2019)
